What a wonderful giveaway. I am just now trying my hand at applique and get quite frustrated with the difficulties I am having, especially with the needle-turn applique. As I get older, the primitive style appeals to me more and more. I like that this style is more assymetrical- like my life!

I used to do folk art painting and then got hooked on patchwork – it’d be great to combine the two – the book looks like a great inspiration.
